A preview of what I what I did yesterday.
Yesterday's shoot with my bones and crow feathers didn't go as well as I plannned I don't think; time to improve though.
May upload some final images or edits later once I've gone through them all and sorted them out. :)
I've got some studio time today to do some more work on my still life assignment; crow feathers and sheep bones it shall be! If the shoot goes badly then it'll be a trip to the butchers to question where I can potentially get a sheep skull from.
Pessimism is just a higher form of optimism. If you expect nothing from people, then you go through life being pleasantly surprised.
I just saw someone Quote this on Facebook and I think it's brilliant.
Final edited images from my derelict building assignment!
Today my crow feathers arrived off eBay! Now all I need to do is to find a bird's nest and to get some jewellery which would go well with my items then I'll be all ready for shooting in the studio on Monday. :)
The photograph above taken by Jason Pietra is my current inspiration for my new studio assignment: to integrate jewellery with dead things.
I've already looked at skulls and replica skulls on eBay and have a few in mind which I like, now I need some fancy beads or a nice ring to put it with.
A birds nest and maybe some feathers too so I can recreate a series. :)
